    Description

    (Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education)Job Summary Insight Global is seeking a Production Coordinator to support daily operations within a heavy industrial manufacturing facility. This individual will oversee plant production activities, coordinate with maintenance and operations teams, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience leading production teams in manufacturing, mining, aggregates, cement, steel, chemical, power generation, or other heavy industrial environments.Responsibilities Coordinate daily production activities to ensure operational, quality, and production goals are achieved.Lead hourly production personnel and provide direction, coaching, and performance feedback.Partner with maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.Monitor production schedules, inventories, and material flow to support customer demand.Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies.Participate in production planning, shutdowns, turnarounds, and continuous improvement initiatives.Generate and maintain production reports, KPI tracking, and operational data.Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reliability.Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, maintenance, and operations teams to maintain adequate inventory and production support resources.Support workforce development through training, mentoring, and adherence to standard operating procedures.Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.3+ years of supervisory, leadership, or production coordination experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Experience working in heavy industry such as cement, steel, mining, aggregates, power generation, paper, chemicals, or similar operations.Strong understanding of production processes, plant operations, and safety programs.Experience using Microsoft Office applications and production/maintenance systems.Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.Preferred Qualifications Experience leading rotating shift operations.Knowledge of preventive maintenance and equipment reliability practices.Experience with continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence programs.Previous experience in cement, slag processing, steel manufacturing, or related material-processing operations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
