    Description

    Description The Production Coordinator's role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring all aspects of production activities within the Electrical Department. This includes managing production schedules, material availability, and workflow optimization to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency. This position serves as a key link between engineering, procurement, and production, driving data‑driven decisions and proactive issue resolution.Requirements Develop, maintain, and track detailed production schedules to meet project deadlinesMonitor project progress and proactively adjust plans to address delays or constraintsEnsure all required materials are available and aligned with production needsUtilize MRP/ERP systems to plan, track, and control material flow across purchasing, warehousing, and productionAnalyze inventory levels and maintain optimal stock to prevent shortages or excessCoordinate with engineering to verify and validate drawings and BOM accuracyTrack key performance metrics (on-time delivery, production efficiency, inventory accuracy, supplier performance)Identify risks in production flow and implement corrective actionsResolve production and material issues; elevate complex challenges as neededDrive continuous improvement initiatives in production planning and control processesGenerate reports and dashboards to provide visibility to leadershipRequired Skills & Competencies Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and OutlookExperience with MRP/ERP systems (planning, scheduling, and inventory control)Advanced planning, scheduling, and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong collaboration skills across engineering, supply chain, and productionHigh attention to detail and data accuracyPreferred Experience in production planning or production control rolesFamiliarity with manufacturing KPIs and reporting toolsMinimum Experience Required 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment preferredPreferred Education & Certifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) requiredPhysical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift 15 pounds at timesOffered Benefits 401(k)Medical, dental, and vision insuranceBasic Life, AD&D, Short and Long term Disability insuranceVoluntary benefitsFSA and HSAPTOEEOC Statement W-Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
