    A food production Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire food production team. Their primary goal is to ensure efficient operations and the production of high-quality food products while adhering to food safety regulations and meeting production targets. The common responsibilities and qualifications for a food production Lead:


    Responsibilities:


    1. Executing the production plan to meet production targets.
    2. Managing and supervising production staff of around 7-10 people, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
    3. Ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards, such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
    4. Collaborating with other departments, such as quality control, maintenance, and procurement, to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues.
    5. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
    6. Maintaining accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
    7. Monitoring and analyzing production performance metrics, such as yield, efficiency, and downtime, to identify areas for improvement.
    8. Managing inventory levels and coordinating raw material procurement to maintain uninterrupted production.
    Qualifications:


    1. Extensive experience in food production or manufacturing, with a proven track record of managing production operations.
    2. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards.
    3. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
    4. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    5. Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
    6. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment used in the food industry.
    7. Proficiency in using computer systems and software for production planning and analysis.
    8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders.
    9. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
