This role supports production teams by ensuring inventory is properly tracked, routed, audited, and available when needed while maintaining inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency. This position serves as a critical link between inventory management and production operations, helping to ensure materials move efficiently through the repair and production process.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Production Supervisors and Technicians with inventory management and movement throughout production processesAssist with system-related training for new employeesSupport inventory process improvement initiativesPerform inventory audits and maintain inventory accuracyProcess inventory movements and transfers within company systemsManage PreCert parts requests and inventory allocationsCoordinate the intake, routing, and tracking of PreEval inventoryStage incoming manual requisitions, parts requests, and items being returned to stockMonitor and streamline incoming bids and purchase orders related to PreEval activitiesManage inventory locations, bins, shelving, and production hold areasEnsure inventory records remain accurate and up to dateSupport workflow efficiency and production readiness across departmentsPerform other duties, tasks, or work as assignedMetricsMinimize production inventory handling incidents and escalationsMinimize inventory defects and discrepancies within internal systemsMaintain organized and accurate production hold shelvesMeet established inventory audit productivity goalsMeet established inventory movement productivity goalsQualificationsStrong organizational skillsGeneral knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookFundamental understanding of inventory management systems preferredTeam-oriented with a focus on process improvementAbility to work effectively in a collaborative production environmentKnowledge & Skills RequiredExcellent communication skillsStrong computer proficiencyAbility to multi-task in a fast‑paced environmentAttention to detailStrong problem‑solving abilitiesStrong organizational and time‑management skillsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredOne to three years of related experience and/or training preferredTechnical or industrial product knowledge a plusPhysical DemandsOccasional sitting, reaching, working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawlingFrequent walking throughout production and warehouse areasFrequent lifting up to 25 poundsCompensationThe recruiting base pay rate for this full‑time position is $18.00 per hour .
