    Job SummaryThe Production Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient operations within a manufacturing and co-packing environment. This role collaborates with cross‑functional teams to align production plans with customer demand, inventory levels, labor availability, and line capacity while meeting quality and delivery expectations.ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage daily and weekly production schedules for manufacturing and co‑packing linesCoordinate with buyers, warehouse, and production teams to ensure materials and resources are available to meet client timelinesAdjust schedules in real time to accommodate changes such as rush orders, equipment downtime, or supply disruptionsMonitor production progress and communicate status updates, delays, and risks to stakeholdersOptimize line utilization, minimize downtime, and improve overall production efficiencyCollaborate with quality and operations teams to ensure compliance with product specifications and regulatory requirementsAnalyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for continuous improvementSupport inventory management by collaborating with demand planners to align production plans with customer schedules and stock levelsHas the desire & skillset to thrive in a fast‑packed, dynamically growing environmentPerform other duties as assigned by Management.RequirementsERP software experience: Syteline or IFS experience is a plus.Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills – Bilingual in Spanish is a plusMRP experience is a plusHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesStrong organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Production Management or equivalent.Food Safety ResponsibilitiesAttend all food safety training sessions (GMP, SQF, HACCP, Allergen, Food Facility Security, Preventing Foodborne Illness)Participate in company GMP walksEnforce company rules regarding food safety and monitoringWorking ConditionsAbility to travel between facilities located in Elk Grove Village, IL and Bartlett, IL on a regular basisOffice setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55–80 degreesThis position may require the employee to work weekends or shifts other than their own to meet the needs of the business.Physical RequirementsOperate standard office equipmentReach with hands and armsLift up to 25 poundsSalary$65,000 - $75,000 plus 8% bonus opportunity#J-18808-Ljbffr
