Description

FINEOS requires an experienced Program Manager, based in North America, with several years of experience running multiple large multimillion‑dollar projects in tier‑1 insurance and financial services organizations. The candidate must have a proven history of client relationship management, Professional Services experience and successful project delivery experience. This role within the North American region will encompass both project delivery and relationship management responsibilities, working closely with our Clients, Account Managers and the broader Sales organization.ResponsibilitiesEnsure that the Professional Services team delivers on its project delivery and client commitments.Build and foster strong, long‑term relationships with all FINEOS clients in the region at senior/executive/C‑level.Build, monitor and mentor a world‑class team of Project Managers and ensure their skill set is adequate for the demands of our projects and customers.Serve as the recognized point of escalation for all issues surrounding project performance for both the customer and the FINEOS organization within the region.Ensure adherence to FINEOS processes and protocols in all projects.Ensure each individual project adheres to both its cost and revenue forecasts.Ensure all risks and exposures for both the broader FINEOS organization and Professional Services are clearly understood, managed and escalated where appropriate, with risk mitigation strategies in place in all projects.Actively focus on identifying revenue‑earning potential via existing client engagements.Represent FINEOS on all project steering committees.Ensure that the resource requirements for the region are clearly communicated within the Professional Services Practice in a timely fashion with reference to both existing projects and sales pipeline projects.Take an active management and/or participation in the hiring process in the region where required.Actively support the team's business agenda and that of the wider corporate FINEOS agenda as a senior manager within the Professional Services organization.Participate in the selling process when required and be familiar with and approve all services quotes issued for sales prospects in the region.Handle business‑level and operational interaction between FINEOS and other partner/third‑party organizations involved in our projects, delivering projects on time and within budget to satisfied, referenceable clients.Achieve or exceed forecast revenue and cost targets for each project/engagement.Articulate, manage and appropriately elevate all project risks and exposures; ensure they are understood by the requisite members of Professional Services and the wider FINEOS organization.Provide timely reporting on all aspects of project performance, including cost, revenue, progress, overruns, risks and issues.Maintain clear visibility of projected resource demand and awareness of sales pipeline activities and likely imminent closing deals.Take appropriate steps within every project to maximize the business benefits that clients will achieve through the FINEOS project implementation.Ensure demonstrable ownership of project financial and delivery goals by all project managers.Maintain credibility within FINEOS and among the customer base as a value‑added point of escalation, including chargeability for performance.Make timely and pro‑active decisions.Exhibit effective leadership and mentoring of the project management team and performance assessment and management of project managers.Deliver projects on time and within budget to satisfied, referenceable clients.Education and/or ExperienceA relevant third‑level qualification or equivalent commercial experience.15+ years of experience at a senior level managing a Professional Services or Delivery Department to an external client base specifically within the Life, Accident and Health Insurance Sector.15+ years of experience at both Program and Senior Project Manager levels, with a background in insurance organizations.15+ years of experience in a consulting and client‑facing role.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProven responsibility for and a track record of successfully delivering multiple large projects to agreed specifications with reference to quality, timescale and budget.Excellent understanding of the business benefits of enterprise solutions and of existing administration systems used within the industry.Proven track record in business development and client management.Experience working with implementation partners is a distinct advantage.Problem‑solving skills with experience managing change control and risk.Ability to negotiate commercial contracts and handle legal issues.Excellent interpersonal, team‑working, leadership and communication skills.Technical SkillsProficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Familiar with operating systems such as Windows and SuccessFactors.Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance work processes and support informed decision‑making, with strict adherence to the organisation's security, data protection and ethical use policies.Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
