Project Crew Member

Mother & Son Lawn Care LLC – Worcester, MA $24–$28/hour based on experience

Mother & Son Lawn Care LLC is hiring a Project Crew Member for the 2026 season.

This is not an entry-level laborer position. We are building a 2-person project crew, which means both people need to bring real experience, work with urgency, and contribute without constant supervision. We are looking for someone who already understands outdoor labor, can handle physically demanding work, and takes pride in doing the job right.

This crew will support a variety of outdoor services including junk removals, mulch installs, yard cleanups, garden bed work, sod installs, planting, tree work support, pet waste removal, holiday light and décor installation, power washing, and snow removal, while also assisting with maintenance-related tasks when needed.

If you need to be chased around, reminded constantly, or trained from the ground up, this is not the role. We need someone who can step in ready to work.

What You'll Be Doing

Junk removals

Yard cleanups

Mulch installs

Garden bed work

Sod installs

Planting and light landscape installs

Tree work support

Pet waste removal

Holiday light and décor installation

Power washing

Snow removal

Seasonal property cleanup work

Assisting maintenance crew when needed

Requirements

Prior experience in landscaping, outdoor labor, junk removal, tree work, snow removal, or similar field work required

Valid driver's license required

Clean driving record required

Active DOT medical card required

Reliable transportation to and from work

Ability to lift, carry, load, and perform physical labor throughout the day

Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, and changing weather

Must be dependable, respectful, coachable, and team-oriented

Must be able to work efficiently as part of a 2-person crew

Must be able to follow direction and maintain quality standards

Pay

$24–$28/hour depending on experience, reliability, and production ability

Pay will reflect what you bring to the crew. We are willing to pay more for someone who can contribute immediately, work efficiently, and help keep jobs moving without hand-holding.

Winter / Off-Season

This is a seasonal outdoor position tied to production demand. As work slows for the winter season, employees may be placed on seasonal layoff status or moved to limited on-call work depending on company workload, weather, and seasonal demand. This seasonal layoff structure helps protect employees during the off-season while preserving strong return opportunities. Dependable employees who perform well, remain responsive, and maintain a strong work ethic will be given priority consideration for winter work opportunities and return to the spring season.
