Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Engineer to support heavy highway and bridge projects, working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams on DOT and municipal construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling, cost tracking, and quantity management
  
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
  
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliers
  
• Review plans and specifications for constructability and compliance
  
• Maintain accurate project documentation and support project closeout
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)
  
• 1-5 years experience on heavy civil, highway, or bridge projects
  
• Familiarity with DOT or municipal construction preferred
  
• Proficiency with Procore, HCSS, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar tools
