Property Management Analyst

Job Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Onsite) Job Duration: 3+ Months (Possible extension) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Summary

As a Client Property Management Analyst, you will support financial and operational activities for a small or mid-sized market portfolio. This role focuses on driving financial performance, maintaining positive tenant and vendor relationships, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction through effective property management support.

Team Overview

• Small team environment
• Reporting to/working closely with a client Property Manager

Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Administrative support for property management operations
• Processing and tracking invoices
• Researching and contacting vendors
• Performing occasional reception/front-desk duties
• Communicating with vendors and tenants
• Supporting financial and operational activities for assigned properties

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of financial activities for a small to mid-sized market
• Support financial performance objectives
• Help drive client satisfaction
• Coordinate with vendors and tenants
• Assist with invoice coding, approvals, and tracking
• Maintain accurate administrative and financial records

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience
• Accounts Payable (AP) experience
• Strong financial acumen
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail property or shopping center experience
• Prior client experience (highly desirable)
• Real estate license or currently pursuing one
• Experience with MRI software
• Experience using corporate systems for:
  • Invoice coding
  • Invoice approvals
  • Financial tracking

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

Additional Notes

• Candidates with shopping center experience but limited property management exposure should have additional relevant experience.
• Must be comfortable interacting with tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
