Mon-Fri 8AM-4PM
May consider 4x10s 7AM-5PM
Orientation 2 Weeks (Mon-Fri 8AM-4PM)
Psychiatrist Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic interviews.
Diagnose and treat mental health and behavioral health conditions.
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and monitor medications as clinically appropriate.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Provide psychotherapy or other appropriate psychiatric interventions.
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Follow applicable clinical, safety, ethical, and facility requirements.
Minimum QualificationsÂ
Psychiatrist with an active, unrestricted CA license.
Board certified or board eligible in psychiatry
CDCR or CERNER experience
Basic Computer Skills
Professional credentials should be current as dictated by the State licensing standards and Professional Licensing Board.
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
