The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for ensuring that a business can efficiently source raw materials, manufacture products, store inventory, and transport shipments. The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible in negotiating business relationships and communicating with suppliers and distributors in fast-paced contract manufacturer of nutraceuticals and dietary supplements.Duties & Responsibilities:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable dealsNegotiate prices for raw materials and delivery with suppliersParticipate in product developmentCoordinate changes, product line extensions, or new product launchesAnalyze logistics data to refine the supply chainCommunicate with suppliers and distributorsProtect brand image and reliabilityFoster growth-friendly supply chain practicesManage purchase orders and tracking shipping schedulesCollaborates with Receiving Department to identify order discrepancies and perform material receipt notification to our field as requiredUpdating order recordsWorking with the purchasing manager to complete necessary special projects/tasksRequirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, STEM Major or related fieldsFamiliarity of fluency with a 2nd language, preferably MandarinAt least 3-5 years' experience in strategic sourcing, category management and/or vendor managementPreferred experience in a similar position for a manufacturing facilityExperience in ERP or other manufacturing softwareAdvance mathematical, communication, problem solving, and organizational skillsCan work under pressure and keep high work qualityHas strong responsibility, and initiative#J-18808-Ljbffr
