    Description

    P1 Construction, LLC. is seeking a QA/QC Electrical Mission Critical Construction Assistant Project Manager for the Kansas City metro area. This is a site-based position supported by our Lenexa, Kansas office.If not located in the area of the assigned jobsite, a travel package will apply. P1 uses the GSA Per Diem rates for assigned out-of-town work (www.gsa.gov).P1 Construction, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment, regardless of status, including status as a protected veteran or as an individual with a disability.Responsibilities and DutiesSignificant travel required for out-of-area job sites.Manages QA/QC activities for electrical construction projects or assists project managers on QA/QC efforts on large scale projects. Assists the project's field staff, subcontractor performance, and vendor compliance. Thorough understanding and compliance with contract documents, budgets, and safety, statutory, and legal compliance.Assists in the management of the QA/QC process which includes project coordination, scheduling, and construction.Monitors QA/QC project documentation and organization between various key stakeholders on the project site.Maintains constructive relationships and supportive communications with clients, vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, community officials, P1 staff, and immediate supervisor.Contributes to the success of the company by effectively and efficiently managing the construction projects so that they are completed on time (according to adjusted schedules) and within budget.Qualifications and SkillsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required.Direct Experience: Must have a minimum of one year of Electrical Construction Project Management related work experience on large construction projects, directly overseeing electrical construction work.Education: meets one of the following requirements:Bachelor's degree in a construction, electrical engineering, or business related discipline ORAt least five years of electrical construction field trade experience, training, or education OREquivalent combination of the above.QA/QC - Mission Critical data center construction experience is preferred.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Organizational skills.Working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen.Must be able to pass a motor vehicle record check and meet P1 vehicle qualifications.
