    Position will be in the North Phoenix HQ office unitl our Casa Grande, AZ location opens in 2027- this is 100% on-site.Chemical Strategies, Inc. is an industry-leading chemical distributor providing warehousing, transportation, third‑party logistics, and supply management services. The company delivers a full range of chemicals and associated materials in diverse packages, sizes, and grades. Its customers include high‑technology organizations in aerospace, defense contracting, research and development, and semiconductor manufacturing. Chemical Strategies offers services from competitive chemical supply to comprehensive chemical management, including container oversight, on‑site personnel, and process support. Team members contribute directly to reliable, safe, and efficient chemical supply solutions for complex industrial operations.We are looking for a Quality Inspector that is responsible for the verification of documentation, such as Certificates of Conformance, Analysis, Drawings, Specifications and Quality Clauses per customer requirements. They must be an action‑oriented hands‑on individual that is driven, detailed, organized and a good problem solver. The Candidate must take pride in their work, be a forward thinker, self‑starter, capable of a high level of multitasking and be able to ensure all company processes are followed.JOB PURPOSE:Maintains quality standards by performing regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping.Recording quality resultsQuality inspectors must be able to connect with customers in order to gauge satisfaction, identify problems, and work on a systematic approach to solve those problems with employees and management.JOB DUTIES:Documents inspection results by completing reports and logsInputting data into quality databaseReconcile final inspection documentation for shipmentsVerifies incoming materials and documentation, such as Certificates of Conformance, Analysis, Drawings, Specifications and Quality Clauses per customer requirementsConducting visual and measurement testsRejecting and returning unacceptable materialsApproves material and documentation by confirming specifications per customers' SPEC sheetsConducting visual and measurement tests on items upon arrival to the warehouse and prior to shipping outCommunicating required adjustments to production or warehouse supervisorApproves finished products by confirming specifications conducting visual and measurement testsReject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectationsReturning products for re‑workConfirming re‑workSummarizing re‑work and wasteMaintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and proceduresComplying with legal regulationsUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunitiesReading technical publicationsAccomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as neededAll other duties as assigned by supervisorSKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:Analyzing Information Reporting Research ResultsDocumentation SkillsPromoting Process ImprovementSafety ManagementREQUIREMENTS:Up to 3 years of experience in Quality Control functionMust have a GED or High School diploma, any college in related field preferredQuality related prior experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 company is a plusMust read and interpret customer/government specification in EnglishProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software programsMust perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment to assure delivery requirementsExcellent communication (oral and written) skillsMust keep accurate records- high attention to detailAbility to follow documented procedures and standardsExcellent time‑management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervisionMust have own transportation to and from workPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must frequently lift objects that are 50 pounds or moreENVIRONMENTPrimarily in an office setting, primarily seatedSemi‑frequent warehouse environment with loud noises and dust possible.Contact Jobs@chemicalstrategies.com for position pay range and benefits package details.#J-18808-Ljbffr
