Quality Assurance Technician – Owensboro, KYBe a part of a revolutionary change! At Philip Morris International (PMI), we've chosen to do something incredible.This position sits with our Swedish Match affiliate.Day to DayComplete periodic technical product reports and report on product problems encountered.Discuss variances with appropriate personnel and monitor major quality problems and trends.Perform quality audits and proactively determine and perform additional efforts necessary to alleviate quality concerns.Participate in meetings of new products, projects, or equipment and provide input to new concepts.Assist with special projects.Establish effective lines of communication and feedback with manufacturing supervisors, engineers, and QA staff to ensure prompt attention and resolution of conditions that adversely affect quality or throughput.QualificationsMinimum high school diploma or equivalent.Must be at least 21 years of age.Computer literate, data entry, document control, and procedural implementation.Familiarity with basic statistics, graphing, charting, ISO, GMP, and quality concepts.Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.Must work well independently and with members of other departments.Ability to prepare timely, concise, and accurate reports.Legally authorized to work in the U.S.CompensationAnnual base salary range: $53,600 – $67,000 + overtime.BenefitsCompetitive base salary, annual bonus (based on level), and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) with a generous company match.Wellness benefits.Opportunities for professional growth in a global business.Inclusive, diverse culture that values contributions from all employees.PMI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
