Our Federal Team at Garver is looking for a Quality Control Specialist to help ensure our design solutions will exceed requirements and expectations.As part of the Federal Team, the Quality Control Specialist will assist in overseeing Garver's Federal Team's Total Quality Management Program, which supervises quality reviews of architecture and engineering deliverables including detailed design plans, specifications, and reports for a variety of site and building projects throughout the United States.Day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Organize and coordinate multi-discipline Quality Control ReviewsParticipating in the review of civil-related portions ofProject PlansProject specificationsDesign ReportsAssist with review of civil-related construction submittalsJoin design progress meetings for select projectsEnsure appropriate quality control procedures are followedMaintenance of appropriate documentation in accordance with project contract requirementsSome occasional travel may be required for industry-related conference attendance or project specific meetings. Due to the collaborative nature of coordination for large multi-faceted projects, candidates must have the ability to seek out and resolve issues through close interaction with other project team members.
