    We are hiring someone intelligent, detail-oriented, and motivated who wants to build a long-term career in title and settlement.

    This is a structured development role designed to train you first in Title Production, then cross-train you in Settlement Operations - ultimately becoming a hybrid professional capable of managing an entire real estate file from title review through closing and policy issuance.

    Responsibilities

    Phase 1: Title Production
    • Review title searches
    • Learn to identify liens, judgments, easements, and restrictions
    • Draft title commitments
    • Understand underwriting guidelines and curative requirements

    Phase 2: Settlement
    • Prepare and balance settlement statements
    • Coordinate with agents, lenders, and processors
    • Ensure underwriting commitments are satisfied
    • Conduct closings once trained and licensed
    • Manage files through recordation and disbursement

    Qualifications

    • 1-3 years in title processing, real estate transactions, lending, or related field preferred
    • OR strong academic/professional background with demonstrated learning ability
    • Outstanding communication skills
    • High responsiveness and accountability
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Comfortable with technology (MS Office, Qualia, Adobe DC preferred)
    • Desire to obtain Virginia title insurance licensing

    Notary certification is a plus, but not required. College is an asset, but not required.
