GNR has been retained by a very well-established organization looking for a “hands-on” EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT in the AEROSPACE / DEFENSE / SPACE sectors.

 

This is a rare opportunity to aggressively grow the A/D business segment with the resources and financial backing of a $1B publicly traded, world-class manufacturing organization. With a strategic acquisition completed, they already have a foothold in the PRECISION MACHINING / WELDING and ASSEMBLY industry that you can build upon.

 

 

We need a strategic-minded go-getter to build a plan and execute growth initiatives along with penetrating additional A&D markets for their entire portfolio of products & capabilities.

  • Reporting to CRO you will be bridging their core engineering capabilities into highly precision-machined systems.
  • You will have the ENTREPRENEURIAL MANDATE to shape the strategic direction, including potential M&A activities, and grow your role as the business scales.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 10+ years of demonstrated Business Development experience in Aerospace / Defense / Space for mechanical systems or machining
  • Strong business acumen to develop Go-to Market Strategies
  • Identify & win new business while cultivating existing relationships
  • Shape the long term A&D capabilities; planning, investments, along with M&A activities
  • Collaborate with the Executive team and serve as the primary "face" of the organization for the A&D market
  • US Citizenship required - DoD clearance is a plus

 

 

OFFERING: Executive Compensation Package = Attractive base salary + generous bonus + RSU grants

 

LOCATION: Work REMOTELY with approx. 50% travel to HQ in CA, trade shows, conferences & customers etc.
