    Description

    Respiratory Care Assistant

    A s a Respiratory Care Assistant, you will play an essential role in the care of ProMedica patients who have respiratory conditions. You will assemble, operate and troubleshoot therapeutic and diagnostic equipment and help with clinical instruction. In this role, you will teach patients about disease-specific processes, tobacco cessation and respiratory care services provided. The above summary of accountabilities is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role. It should not be considered exhaustive.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be enrolled and in good standing, or a recent graduate of, an accredited respiratory therapy program
    • Ohio facilities – must have a current Limited Permit License to render respiratory care services by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board in the state of Ohio
    • Current BLS
