You'll work closely with the GOAT USA retail team, reporting directly to the Retail Store Manager.Position OverviewThe Retail Store Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the overall success of the store by ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering a strong customer experience, and leading the store team. This role works closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop employees, and maintain GOAT USA brand standards.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport daily store operations, including scheduling, shift coverage, and task delegationComplete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees to shifts.Coach, develop, and motivate team members to drive performance and accountabilityAssist in hiring, training, and ongoing development of store employeesHandle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues professionallyPartner with the Store Manager to execute company initiatives and store goalsDrive sales by supporting GOAT USA sales strategies and team performanceOversee inventory management, including restocking, organization, and accuracyEnsure the store is clean, organized, and visually aligned with brand standardsOpen and close the store, including registers, cash handling, and security proceduresMaintain accurate cash management, deposits, and sales reportingEnsure a safe and secure environment for employees and customersSupport merchandising efforts, including seasonal changes and visual displaysCoordinate inventory flow and stockroom organizationFulfill online and in-store pickup orders accurately and efficientlyMaintain store supplies, including cleaning and operational materialsCommunicate effectively with store leadership and corporate teamsRequirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong communication, leadership and team management skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills.Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Ability to communicate effectively in EnglishFull‑Time, non‑exempt.Capable of lifting or moving heavy products up to 50 pounds.Able to stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift.Basic math skills for handling transactions.Basic Excel and Word skills.Must work every Monday, on days of restocks, and one weekend day.Full Time U.S. Employee Benefits IncludePaid vacation and sick timeHealth InsuranceDCA/ FSA accountEmployee discountAnd moreEqual Employment Opportunity StatementGOAT USA is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
