Retail Store Manager II – Fort Smith, ARRetail Store Manager II is responsible for managing all store operations, including a team of sales and sales support employees. The focus is on driving sales of Cox Services while maintaining efficient operations to ensure maximum profitability.Key responsibilities include monitoring store revenues and operational targets, customer satisfaction, inventory and shrink; assessing local competitors and pricing trends; and ensuring the store remains consumer relevant and competitively positioned.What You'll DoHire, train, develop, and discipline store staffSet performance goals and objectives for the team and individual employeesFacilitate weekly sales meetings to align associates with corporate initiativesManage individual store revenue, operational and customer satisfaction targetsMonitor store shrink, conduct exception analysis and take corrective actionAssess local competitive assortment and pricing trends and report discrepanciesCreate store labor plans based on corporate guidelines, seasonality, and customer demandOversee daily cash handling and accounts payablePartner with Corporate Cox to align traffic trends with inventory requirementsOversee store and sales floor inventory to support corporate design strategyMaintain current job knowledge through ongoing trainingPerform other duties as requiredWho You'reMinimumHigh School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in a related field; alternatively, a bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience or a master's/Ph.D. with up to 1 year of experiencePreferredBachelor's degree in Business or related fieldRetail management with supervisory experienceExperience selling Wireless/Mobile productsWillingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysWillingness to travelValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $61,600.00 – $92,400.00 annually (range varies by location and candidate experience).
