Roofing Shingler (Asphalt Shingle Installer)
Location: Livermore, CA Company: Allied Construction Services
Job Summary: Allied Construction Services is seeking a skilled Roofing Shingler to install, repair, and maintain asphalt shingle roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install asphalt shingles, underlayment, flashing, and ventilation systems
• Remove old roofing materials and prepare roof surfaces
• Measure and cut materials to fit roof specifications
• Inspect roofs for damage and recommend repairs
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA standards at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
Qualifications:
• 1+ years of roofing or construction experience preferred
• Knowledge of roofing tools, materials, and techniques
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
Preferred:
• Experience with residential roofing systems
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Salary Description
$32 per hour
