Sanitation Associate I - B1Job Category: Sanitation Requisition Number: SANIT013689Posted: June 29, 2026Full-Time On-site Livonia, MI 48150, USADescriptionShift: Thurs-Sat, every other Wed from 5am-5pmPrimary Function:The essential function of this position is to provide day-to-day assistance and complete cleaning activities as required by the Sanitation department.Values:To perform the job successfully, the incumbent's behavior must be consistent with the PRIDE values expected of all Mastronardi Produce employees: be Passionate; have Respect; be Innovative; be Driven and strive for Excellence.Primary Responsibilities:Assist with cleaning duties for both the interior and exterior warehouseAssist with conventional and organic cleaning on production linesWork as a team member; follow directions and offer support and suggestions when necessaryAttend all training for Sanitation, Health & Safety and Food Safety, adhere and maintain compliance to all company policies, rules and regulationsWear personal protective equipment as prescribedOperate all machinery and equipment safely, as prescribed (e.g., fork-lift, scissor-lift, weed whacker, vacuums, floor scrubber, pressure washers, etc)Do some heavy lifting and break-down of equipmentMaintain records as prescribedEducation/Background Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredOne-year related work experience preferredSpecific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude, show willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision, take ownership of job, with a strong degree of professionalism and personal integrityMust follow all company policies, rules and regulationsespecially those for Health & Safety and Food SafetyMust handle all chemicals safely, as prescribedMust work responsibly in a way to minimize damage to company equipment or propertyWorking Conditions:Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing facilityWorking conditions included refrigerate warehouses (30 F to 70 F)Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbsEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
