As we expand, we're building a strong team that takes pride in quality, safety, and getting the job done right.If you're looking for a stable opportunity with room to grow in a food manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.Role SummaryThe Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and food-safe environment throughout the BB Nash facility. This role supports production operations by cleaning and sanitizing equipment, food-contact surfaces, production areas, warehouses, and common spaces in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.This role is ideal for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment that supports the production of high-quality protein bars.Shift DetailsThis is an off-shift role supporting production outside of standard daytime operations. Schedules will fall within evening and/or overnight hours.Final shift structure will be determined based on business needs, with the goal of establishing a consistent and predictable schedule.Core ResponsibilitiesEquipment & Facility Sanitation: Maintain a clean and food-safe environment.Clean and sanitize production equipment, food-contact surfaces, and production areasClean floors, walls, drains, warehouses, and employee common areasRemove waste and maintain a clean, organized facilityProperly clean, store, and maintain sanitation tools and equipmentFood Safety & Compliance: Support food safety and audit readiness.Follow GMP, food safety, allergen control, and sanitation requirementsSafely use and handle cleaning chemicals and sanitation suppliesComplete sanitation records and cleaning documentation accuratelySupport sanitation verification activities and audit readiness effortsReport food safety, quality, maintenance, or facility concernsProduction & Operational Support: Help keep operations running smoothly.Assist with line changeovers and cleaning between production runsMaintain sanitation supplies and organized storage areasSupport continuous improvement and 5S initiativesSafety: Promote a safe workplace.Follow all company safety policies and proceduresWear required PPE and use sanitation equipment safelyReport unsafe conditions and participate in safety trainingQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious sanitation, janitorial, manufacturing, or food production experience preferredAbility to read and follow written procedures and work instructionsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of GMPs, sanitation practices, or food safety programs is a plusWhat It Takes to SucceedReliability and strong work ethicAttention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessSafety-first mindsetClear communication and teamwork skillsCommitment to food safety and quality standardsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. safelyAbility to bend, reach, kneel, climb stairs, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shiftAbility to work in wet, humid, hot, cold, and refrigerated environmentsWork EnvironmentFood manufacturing and warehouse environment with strict adherence to GMP and food safety standardsPPE required when entering production areas (hair nets, beard nets if applicable, gloves, etc.)Exposure to cleaning chemicals, sanitation equipment, production equipment, forklifts, and noiseWork may involve varying temperatures, including refrigerated, wet, humid, hot, and cold environmentsMovement between production, warehouse, office, and employee common areas as neededAdherence to food safety policies, including restrictions on jewelry, artificial nails, and similar items in production areasSmoke-free campus; no smoking permitted on company propertyHow to ApplyIf you are interested in joining our team, we encourage you to apply.
