We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. This is a seasonal position. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality customer experiences.
Duties- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all orders are complete and presented in an appealing manner before serving.
- Assist servers in providing excellent customer service by anticipating guest needs and responding promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Help with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to all safety protocols.
Skills- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers.
- Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques is a plus.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
