Job Title: SECRET CLEARANCE Manufacturing Engineering Level 3

Overview:

Required Skills:
  • U.S. Citizenship with no dual citizenships required
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance (manager prefers candidates already cleared but will consider those willing to obtain clearance)
  • Strong experience in mechanical component manufacturing, assembly, and integration in aerospace or similar industries
  • Proficiency with CAD software such as ProE, CATIA, VisMockup, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process development, including precision turning, machining, and welding techniques
  • Experience managing projects under Lean methodologies, including process certification and continuous improvement tools like Kaizen and VSM
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with risk assessments and safety protocols in manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Familiarity with supply chain management and supplier evaluation
  • Prior experience in aerospace or defense industries

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience; or
  • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience; or
  • 8+ years of directly applicable experience in lieu of a degree

Other Requirements:
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance
  • Position may require occasional travel to manufacturing sites or vendor locations
