Required Skills:
- U.S. Citizenship with no dual citizenships required
- Active Top-Secret Clearance (manager prefers candidates already cleared but will consider those willing to obtain clearance)
- Strong experience in mechanical component manufacturing, assembly, and integration in aerospace or similar industries
- Proficiency with CAD software such as ProE, CATIA, VisMockup, or equivalent
- Knowledge of manufacturing process development, including precision turning, machining, and welding techniques
- Experience managing projects under Lean methodologies, including process certification and continuous improvement tools like Kaizen and VSM
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with risk assessments and safety protocols in manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Familiarity with supply chain management and supplier evaluation
- Prior experience in aerospace or defense industries
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience; or
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience; or
- 8+ years of directly applicable experience in lieu of a degree
Other Requirements:
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance
- Position may require occasional travel to manufacturing sites or vendor locations
