Job Title: SECRET CLEARANCE Manufacturing Engineering Level 4

Overview:
Are you an experienced manufacturing engineer with a secret clearance ready to make a significant impact in the aerospace and defense industry? We are seeking talented professionals to oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for complex mechanical components used in rocket engines and power systems. Required Skills:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of machining, welding, and shop-floor manufacturing processes
  • Proven experience in layout design, material handling, and fabrication techniques
  • Ability to develop, review, and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models (ProE, CATIA, or similar software)
  • Strong understanding of risk assessments, safety standards, and process validation
  • Skilled in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, 3P, and VSM
  • Expertise in managing complex projects, including delegating tasks and reviewing work products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience supporting design reviews (CDR, CoDR, PDR)
  • Knowledge of precision turning, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Familiarity with customer and vendor process certifications and standards

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related discipline with a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree with at least 4 years’ experience
  • Alternatively, 10+ years of relevant industry experience in manufacturing engineering in lieu of a degree

Other Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship (no dual citizenship) required
  • Current secret clearance preferred; willingness to obtain one if necessary
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with potential travel
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
