Job Title: SECRET CLEARANCE Manufacturing Engineering Level 4
Overview:

We are seeking talented professionals to oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for complex mechanical components used in rocket engines and power systems. Required Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of machining, welding, and shop-floor manufacturing processes
- Proven experience in layout design, material handling, and fabrication techniques
- Ability to develop, review, and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models (ProE, CATIA, or similar software)
- Strong understanding of risk assessments, safety standards, and process validation
- Skilled in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, 3P, and VSM
- Expertise in managing complex projects, including delegating tasks and reviewing work products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience supporting design reviews (CDR, CoDR, PDR)
- Knowledge of precision turning, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Familiarity with customer and vendor process certifications and standards
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related discipline with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience
- Graduate Degree with at least 4 years experience
- Alternatively, 10+ years of relevant industry experience in manufacturing engineering in lieu of a degree
Other Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship (no dual citizenship) required
- Current secret clearance preferred; willingness to obtain one if necessary
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with potential travel
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
