Job Summary: We are seeking energetic and experienced Teachers to join our team!
As a Parent Educator, you will teach classes using the curriculum provided by the school on a temporary or long-term basis. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and highly organized!
Responsibilities:
Present workshops on different topics such as: Technology, Parent, ESL: Language Developement, College and Career Readiness, etc.
Assign homework
Take attendance
Grade assignments and provide feedback
Track students’ progress and document for the regular classroom teacher
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Previous experience as a substitute teacher is preferred: Available in the A.M. and/or P.M.
Understanding best practices in education and classroom management
Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Bilingual a plus!
