HotFoot Recruiters is excited to partner with a lifestyle apparel brand to hire a Senior Accountant II to support accounting operations, financial reporting, AR, inventory/cost accounting, and process improvement for their Glendale, AZ office.

This role is ideal for a strong accounting professional who is comfortable working in a high-volume environment, improving manual processes, and partnering closely with internal teams to support accuracy, efficiency, and operational growth.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 DOE
Schedule: On-site initially; hybrid option may be available after 3-6 months

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable balances, customer credit limits, and cash application across multiple channels.
  
  
• Research and resolve customer account discrepancies, reconciliations, and collection-related issues.
  
  
• Assist with developing and maintaining credit review processes for new customer accounts.
  
  
• Support month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, inventory valuation, and inventory roll-forward.
  
  
• Analyze cost accounting data, inventory reports, margin reports, and profitability trends.
  
  
• Review credit card transaction templates and ensure accurate, timely entry.
  
  
• Support Blue Cherry data uploads into Dynamics 365 and help resolve system-related accounting issues.
  
  
• Assist with sales and use tax reporting for multiple states.
  
  
• Maintain internal controls, accounting procedures, SOP documentation, and compliance processes.
  
  
• Support departmental audits, bank audit preparation, KPI development, and process improvement projects.
  
  
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, vendors, service providers, and internal departments to resolve accounting issues.
  
  
• Help identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce manual processes, and increase reporting accuracy.

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior accountant, staff accountant, AR, cost accounting, or inventory accounting role.
  
  
• Strong experience with accounts receivable, cash application, reconciliations, month-end close, and journal entries.
  
  
• Experience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, margin analysis, or distribution/warehouse accounting preferred.
  
  
• Comfortable working in a high-volume environment with manual processes.
  
  
• Strong process improvement mindset with the ability to identify gaps and recommend practical solutions.
  
  
• ERP/accounting system experience required; Dynamics 365 and Blue Cherry experience preferred.
  
  
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and documentation skills.
  
  
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, vendors, and service providers.
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
