Description

Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Compensation: $75k-$85k Base
Job Type: Full Time

What We're Looking For:
  • 2-5+ years of accounting experience with experience in manufacturing (strongly preferred)
  • Experience with cost accounting, inventory accounting, fixed assets, or manufacturing variances (strongly preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred)
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Analyze standard costs, inventory, manufacturing variances, and average costing
  • Support fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure tracking
  • Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing costs and improve financial performance
  • Assist with SOX compliance, audits, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
