Overview

Salary Range $18.00 Hourly Travel Percentage None

Description

Specific duties include:

  • Following all Goodwill policies and safety procedures and possessing professional etiquette.
  • Processing register transactions, handling money, counting down a drawer, and asking every customer for a Round-Up donation. Achieving a 40% Round-Up transaction average every month.
  • Engaging customers successfully by greeting, focusing, maintaining a clean store, walking, talking, and showing, thanking customers for supporting job training and education initiatives, listening and responding to concerns, managing the register line, using good phone etiquette, and providing timely announcements.
  • Receiving cross-training as Donation-Utility Associate and Barcoder to promote individual growth and maintain company productivity.
  • Training to complete opening and closing procedures as necessary.
  • Stocking and maintaining the sales floor with newly processed merchandise.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized sales floor by recovering standards through sizing of merchandise and organization of wares and furniture.
  • Establishing or identifying prices of goods via the type of merchandise, identifying markings, or asking for help from an on-site manager or supervisor.
  • Utilizing systems, including phones and paging systems, and making regularly scheduled announcements.
  • Maintaining the interior and exterior of the store in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
  • Maintaining a clean and neat personal appearance at all times and wearing the company-issued uniform.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • All other essential duties as assigned.
