    Senior HR Consultant

    Payfluence HCM is seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior Human Resources Consultant to serve as a trusted outsourced HR partner for our clients throughout the Southeast region. This role is responsible for providing strategic and operational HR support to a diverse portfolio of businesses, helping clients navigate employee relations, compliance, talent management, performance management, policy development, and HR best practices.

    The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who enjoys building relationships, consulting with business leaders, and delivering practical HR solutions that help organizations grow while minimizing risk.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Serve as the primary HR consultant and trusted advisor for assigned Payfluence clients.
    • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance concerns, disciplinary actions, investigations, conflict resolution, and terminations.
    • Assist clients with HR compliance related to federal, state, and local employment laws.
    • Develop, review, and update employee handbooks, policies, procedures, and HR documentation.
    • Support clients with recruiting strategies, interview processes, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
    • Advise managers and executives on leadership development, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
    • Conduct HR audits and recommend improvements to HR processes and compliance practices.
    • Partner with clients during organizational changes, restructures, and workforce transitions.
    • Deliver HR training on topics such as harassment prevention, leadership development, performance management, and compliance.
    • Assist clients with leave administration, accommodations, and employee benefit-related HR matters.
    • Maintain accurate client records and document consulting activities within Payfluence systems.
    • Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, and HR Technology teams to provide comprehensive client support.
    • Participate in onsite client meetings, training sessions, and strategic business reviews throughout the region.
    Qualifications
    Required
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
    • SHRM-CP Certification
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
    • Experience handling employee relations and performance management matters.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
