Summary
The Senior Human Resource Coordinator plays a key role in supporting hotel associates and leadership by delivering exceptional service, managing recruiting efforts, and maintaining accurate HR systems. This role serves as the first point of contact for HR, supporting onboarding, associate engagement, compliance, and daily HR operations with professionalism and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
Welcome, direct, and assist associates and applicants with HR-related inquiries.
Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, interviewing, onboarding, drug testing, and orientation.
Maintain and manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Plan and support associate recognition and engagement events.
Maintain accuracy of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) while protecting confidential data.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource for associates regarding benefits, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with HR leadership and Executive Committee members as needed.
Ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws.
Perform additional duties to support business needs.
What You'll Bring
Positive attitude, strong service mindset, and passion for people.
Knowledge of HR policies and employment laws (ADA, FMLA, EEOC, etc.).
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational, confidentiality, flexibility, and initiative skills.
Dependable with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs. regularly.
Ability to follow all policies outlined in the Associate Orientation Handbook.
