    Description

    Demand Planning ManagerHubbell Incorporated seeks an experienced Demand Planning Manager to oversee, analyze, and develop accurate demand forecasts that support our customers' planning. The role requires strong collaboration with product management, sales, engineering, finance, and IT, and involves leading a team within the ERP system to ensure operational planning aligns with business objectives.Location: Portsmouth, NH, USDate Posted: Apr 16, 2026ResponsibilitiesManage, review, and analyze sales backlog and demand forecast to ensure operations can meet customer demand.Use a combination of statistical forecasting and business input to maintain a twelve‑month rolling forecast; lead the business‑wide forecasting process.Develop and manage the Demand Planning team to align Operations, Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Finance functions.Manage order fulfillment between internal manufacturing and contract manufacturers.Work directly with Sales and support teams to provide timely lead‑time estimates for new opportunities.Liaise with product management, program management, commercial team, order entry, and materials teams on expediting product, pulling sales orders, and priority issues to meet customer needs.Monitor and report on request‑kept, promise‑kept, overdue backlog, and other operations metrics.Manage the operations department's ERP requirements in close collaboration with IT.Assist Purchasing with managing safety stock levels to balance customer service and inventory targets.Identify, drive, and support process improvement initiatives.Manage demand loading files for all Aclara product lines used by contract manufacturers.QualificationsBachelor's degree in business administration or supply chain operations.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in supply chain/operations planning at a managerial level.Excellent understanding of MRP and inventory control systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze large amounts of data to make sound decisions.Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and facilitation skills.Proven record of effectively managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.APICS Operations/Supply Chain certification or equivalent.Hubbell Incorporated is an equal‑opportunity employer.
