In this critical leadership role, you'll oversee Transaction Operations, Order Operations, Title Operations, Controls & Compliance, and Product/Project Management—ensuring seamless execution from order to delivery while scaling our operations for rapid growth.This is a high‑impact position where you'll lead a talented cross‑functional team, partner with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, IT, Legal, and Delivery, and directly influence the customer experience through operational innovation and process excellence.What You'll DoLead & Inspire a High‑Performing Team Manage and develop teams across Transaction Operations, Order Operations, Title Operations, Controls & Compliance, and Product ManagementFoster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellenceOptimize team workflows to ensure efficient task distribution and executionDrive Operational Excellence Own end‑to‑end sales operations processes from contract execution through registration and title transferEnsure registration completion and maintain rapid case resolutionOversee order finalization, contract validation, and payment processing across SAP and SalesforceManage complex customer escalations and buyback processesCoordinate title operations including trade intake, lien payoffs, and wholesale partner fulfillmentEnsure Compliance & Controls Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations across all jurisdictionsOversee bank and lienholder title management and reportingManage DMV vendor relationships, transaction reconciliation, and financial controlsEnsure SOX compliance and audit readiness across all operational processesLead vendor onboarding for new states and DMV/registration servicesInnovate Through Technology & Automation Own the product roadmap and prioritization for operational systems and toolsPartner with IT to drive automation initiatives that eliminate manual workflowsLead UAT, system implementations, and change management for new technologiesDefine success metrics and maintain operational dashboards and reportingExecute Strategic Initiatives Create detailed program timelines and project plans for market expansion and new location launchesLead cross‑functional projects including incentive programs, fleet operations, and return processesDevelop and document scalable end‑to‑end processes with clear interdependenciesPartner with Training & Enablement to roll out new processes and system updatesProvide executive‑level status updates to internal and external stakeholdersRequired Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Business Process AutomationProven leadership experience managing cross‑functional operations teams in fast‑paced environmentsDeep automotive operations expertise including registration, titling, DMV processes, and complianceStrong technical proficiency with Salesforce, SAP, and operational management systemsMulti‑state compliance knowledge and experience navigating complex regulatory requirementsVendor management experience coordinating with external partners and service providersUnderstanding of Buyback, Customer Return, and Lemon Law processes and proceduresExpertise in contract validation, tax/fee calculations, and financial reconciliationTrack record of successful system implementations and process automation initiativesCompensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays; and a 401(k) retirement plan.
