(Senior) Project Manager - Commercial - Portsmouth, NH

We are partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor to identify a Senior Project Manager / Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects throughout New Hampshire, Southern Maine, and Northern Massachusetts. Description

• Manage the full project lifecycle from preconstruction handoff through project completion
• Oversee 2-3 concurrent commercial construction projects valued between $1M and $15M
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal project teams
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders
• Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Monitor project costs, mitigate risks, and ensure successful financial performance
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards

Profile

A successful (Senior) Project Manager - Commercial should have:

• 10+ years of construction management or project management experience
• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects up to $15M
• Background in ground-up commercial construction; renovation and fit-out experience is also desirable
• Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and project controls
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ideally located within 45 minutes of Portsmouth, NH

• Base salary up to $130,000, depending on experience
