We are recruiting for a Senior Risk Management/Loss Control Consultant to join our team. This is a field-based position that will sit remotely in the Dallas / Ft. Worth, TX area.
Conducts insurance risk management surveys on a range of moderate to complex risks, aiming to enhance policyholder risk profiles by identifying and mitigating safety hazards. Actively contributes to the development and support of technical expertise. Drives the promotion, marketing, and advancement of Company initiatives, focusing on profitable growth. Demonstrates One Amerisure behaviors with dedication, fostering strong relationships with assigned Partners For Success® (PFS) Agencies and their clients.
Bachelor's degree in risk management or a related field with advanced certification/designation (CSP, ARM, CRM, CIC, CPCU) preferred. 5 or more years of experience in safety, risk management or related industry. High acumen with business computer applications including MS Office products and other industry platforms. This includes virtual meeting and conferencing applications. Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within department, across the organization and with external customers. Engages as needed with corporate underwriting to support business activities. Well-developed conflict resolution skills – with the ability to engage other departments. Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity. Ability to work independently but collaboratively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers and communicate complex technical subjects both verbally and written format. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Must have a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record The ability to travel up to 2 overnights a month.
