Senior Supply Chain Specialist (Direct Hire)We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in a high-impact role essential to our operational success. This professional will be responsible for ensuring that material supply and inventory levels flow seamlessly throughout the organization. Acting as a key collaborator with our vendors, you will represent the company's contribution to these valued partnerships.Position OverviewSchedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMCompensation: $85,000.00 – $130,000.00 (Based on experience)Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Oversight: Manage multiple product lines from point of origin to point of consumption.Strategic Planning: Develop material purchase plans driven by sales forecasts and customer demand.Inventory Optimization: Analyze inventory usage, scrap, and waste to provide strategic insights for improving inventory flow.Logistics & Balance: Develop strategic approaches to balance shipments, shortages, and logistics while managing engineering changes and cancellations.Coordination: Manage material movements between storage areas and external suppliers.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Shipping and Receiving to ensure smooth supply chain flow.High-Level Advisory: Provide strategic recommendations on ongoing projects for each product line and source materials/resources worldwide.QualificationsEducation: Minimum BA/BS Degree in a business-related field.Experience: 5–7 years in a regulated manufacturing environment is required.Technical Expertise: Proficient in Material Resource Planning (MRP).Global Relations: Proven experience building and maintaining international and domestic supplier relationships.Tech-Savvy: Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM are considered a strong plus.The Ideal CandidateAttention to Detail: You exhibit a strong focus on details while maintaining a strategic, "big picture" perspective.Integrity & Discernment: You lead with impeccable integrity and honor strict confidentiality.Communication: You demonstrate excellent written/verbal skills and communicate respectfully to generate goodwill and confidence within the team.Proactive Problem Solver: You take initiative to implement strategic solutions and possess excellent problem-solving skills.Collaborative: You work effectively both as an independent contributor and as a supportive team member.How to ApplyThis position is a Direct Hire opportunity managed through Medix .
