The Server is responsible for the overall guest satisfaction, greeting and serving guests in co-ordination of existing systems, policies, training, and departmental standards. The Server is expected to provide an exemplary dining experience for guests through prompt attentive service, timely communication with the Back of the House, deductive reasoning, problem solving, self-accountability, and thorough knowledge of the current menu, specials, and items out of stock. The server is expected to know, understand, and abide by established Company Policy, Departmental Procedures, and display comprehensive knowledge of the policies dictated in Title 31, proper cash handling, and the safe and responsible sale and service of alcohol. The server should also possess general understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
