If you have a passion for retaining and growing client relationships while preparing financial plans and analyzing accounts, this role is for you.Job SummaryThe Service Advisor will be responsible for a wide range of important duties, including preparing financial plans, helping with day‑to‑day operations, account analysis, and more. It is important that the Service Advisor maintains current client relationships and lives up to the DBHW Wealth Partners service standards.Duties / ResponsibilitiesGeneral SupportCarries out planning, analysis, investment and other decisions that affect client relationships, consulting with the Lead Advisor/Managing Director on complex decisions as neededGrows existing client relationships by adding more assets under management, identifying opportunities for additional services and seeking referralsLeverages the time and expertise of Lead Advisors/Managing Directors by assisting them and at times replacing them in the execution of steps in the client service processPrepares and updates financial plans, working with clients to obtain the necessary information and ensuring that it is accurately entered into the firm's financial planning systemsWorks with Lead Advisors/Managing Directors to discuss, review and finalize financial planning assumptions and design decisionsWorks with clients, under the supervision of Lead Advisors/Managing Directors, to obtain information and prepare risk profiles and investment policy statementsCoordinates the transfer of client assets to the firm during new client onboarding, working closely with the Operations GroupDevelops asset allocation strategies and works independently or with the Investment Group to implement (in firms without an Investment Department, may be responsible for all or most of the initial portfolio creation)Rebalances portfolios as directed by the Investment Committee and the Lead Advisor/Managing Director working with the clientParticipates in all client meetings and adds value to meetings by delivering presentations, facilitating discussions and preparing informationCreates custom worksheets and analyses where needed to answer client questions or research investment opportunitiesResearches new investment products and vendorsFacilitates the adoption of new technology by client service teams and trains others as necessaryFrequently supervises and trains entry‑level positions and the Operations GroupAdvises clients on appropriate financial products in the context of their plansRequired Skills / AbilitiesService Advisors are expected to have expertise in the following skill areas:Financial planning and financial adviceClient serviceCompliance processProject/time managementClient and internal communicationsService Advisors typically work to develop their skills in the following areas:Relationship managementNetworkingManagement and leadershipCoaching and mentorshipEducation, Experience, and Licensing5‑9 years of experience in an advisor role required.Series 63, 65, and 66 certifications are preferred.Series 7 certification preferred.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.This position is an in‑office position.As a full‑time team member of the firm, you will be eligible to participate in several firm sponsored benefits. In addition, you will be entitled to accrue paid time off - starting at 120 hours each calendar year.We also close our office for 7 holidays, and have a floating holiday available for use as well.#J-18808-Ljbffr
