Provide technical support during events at MSE facilities inclusive of nights (2nd shift), weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain the technical integrity of computer systems, network devices, and broadcast/arena A/V systems.
- Document all issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in a ticketing system.
- Test, maintain, and fabricate cables, adapters, and small part modifications as needed.
- Image and install operating systems and service packs, as well as security patches and bug fixes.
- Build, update, and develop Standard Operating Procedure guides used for training, IT operations, and work-flow management purposes.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of experience in a live event environment or as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role.
- Working knowledge of computer software/hardware, Windows/Mac operating systems, mobile devices, and network switches/hubs and cabling.
- Understanding of broadcast signal flow in a television broadcast environment; inclusive of video routers, video switchers, broadcast cameras, RF infrastructure.
- Solid grasp of office automation products and computer peripherals including printers and scanners.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, make quick decisions, and respond to the demands of live games and events.
