Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:$32- $44/per hour

About the Role

In this role, you will lead and support the installation, fabrication, and repair of sheet metal systems in commercial and public buildings. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

ResponsibilitiesLead Mechanic

• Provide hands-on leadership to field crews throughout all project phases, from layout and planning to installation and testing

• Install and oversee installation of commercial HVAC sheet metal systems according to blueprints and specifications

• Read and interpret drawings and P&ID schematics

• Work independently and collaboratively with team members

• Support and guide mechanics and apprentices in the field

Foreman

• Lead fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal systems for commercial HVAC applications

• Manage crews and coordinate daily jobsite activities

• Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards

• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders

• Build strong working relationships with crews, clients, and partners

• Supervise apprentices, mechanics, lead mechanics, and journeymen

• Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout each phase of the project

QualificationsLead Mechanic

• Minimum of 5 years of sheet metal experience

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Strong leadership and teamwork skills

Foreman

• Minimum of 8 years of sheet metal experience

• Proven leadership experience in commercial HVAC projects

• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills

All Candidates

• Must have essential hand tools required for the trade

• Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background checks as required

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on leadership role in a commercial construction environment. You can expect:

• Work in both indoor and outdoor jobsite conditions, including varying weather

• Frequent standing, climbing, bending, and physical activity

• Lifting up to 50 pounds as needed

• Occasional travel or extended driving between job locations

• Exposure to common construction materials and environments
