We have a remote full time role for a Software Developer with a Space Company.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications and services using C#, Java, and Python
Deploy and manage containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes, including image security, secrets management, and access controls
Embed security practices across the software development lifecycle, including vulnerability scanning, infrastructure-as-code security, and continuous monitoring
Collaborate with prime contractor on compliance, audit, and authorization-related activities applicable when serving in subcontracting on projects
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web-based interfaces for customer applications
Automate workflows and integrate with third-party tools and platforms via APIs
Support rapid prototyping and iterative delivery in small-team, customer-facing environments
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, AND 5+ years of experience, OR Master's degree AND 3+ years of experience
Proficiency in C#, Java, and Python
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker (containerization and orchestration), including security hardening of containerized environments
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be a United States citizen
Must be eligible for and willing to obtain up to a Top Secret/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Space industry experience
Experience with front-end development using React or Angular
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
Experience designing, securing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps) with platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
Experience with Apache Kafka
Experience with container/image security scanning tools and secrets management platforms
Active security clearance
