    Special Programs Access Control Officer (ACO)

    Raytheon is seeking a Special Programs Access Control Officer (ACO). The Special Programs Access Control Officer (ACO) will perform a wide variety of tasks as part of the Special Programs team within security primarily supporting Visitor/Access Control. In this position, you will maintain access control database; assist in the daily operations of shared conference rooms, conduct entry/exit inspections of employees and visitors; track equipment and materials entering and exiting secure facilities; maintain physical security records including Fixed Facility Checklists, Tempest Checklists and alarm test records.

    What You Will Do

    • Delivers exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders by managing access and visitor control processes effectively.
    • Administer security protocols in compliance with NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, ICD 705, and JSIG, ensuring adherence to classified environment standards for personnel processing, media control, document marking, visitor access, and classified material destruction.
    • Supports secure transmission procedures for classified and proprietary materials, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
    • Conducts and participates in internal reviews and government inspections to ensure security compliance and operational excellence.
    • Manages and executes a comprehensive visitor control program, ensuring secure and efficient access for authorized individuals.
    • Oversee the maintenance of physical security documentation and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
    • Maintains personnel security records and performed data entry tasks with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
    • This role will require you to be onsite in our Tucson AZ facility.

    Qualifications You Must Have

    • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
    • Experience in NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, and/or ICD 705.
    • Experience with Access Control mechanisms, (e.g., C-Cure 9000).
    • Experience in data entry or database management.
    • Active and transferable Secret clearance is required. U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance prior to start date.

    Qualifications We Prefer

    • Experience in Physical Security.
    • Experience with Media Control and Information Security.
    • Knowledge of National Security experience; administrative and office management background skills.
    • Experience with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) including Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).

    The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
