Job Title:Specialist, Production PlannerJob DescriptionThe RoleOur Company is seeking a Production Planner to join our team. The Production Planner should have basic knowledge and understanding of Production Planning/Scheduling methods and practices. Can follow established procedures on routine assignments. Seeks input from supervisor or more experienced peers on issues beyond routine assignments. Assignments are routine or semi-routine and under the guidance of more experienced peers.What You'll DoReview material availability and release work orders ready for kittingCoordinate replenishment activities with procurementSupport production with part shortagesManage work order material and approve returns of unused componentsUpdate open work orders with any configuration changesConfirm all open STO (stock to order) work orders in the system and deliver to logisticsWork with Planners III or higher, Warehouse Manager and procurement, to update and maintain Kanban/safety stock inventory levels based upon supply/demand analysesAnalyze work order variance and close work orders after system completionEscalate financial bearing discrepancies to Planner III or higherFollow all Entegris planning policies and proceduresAny other duties as assigned.What We SeekHigh school graduate or equivalentBasic understanding and knowledge of ERP/MRP systemsMust have strong analytical skills and be detail orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAssertive, collaborative and results orientedAbility to multitaskWork cross-functionally with multiple internal partnersExperienced in using MS Excel and mining dataWhat We OfferAt Entegris, we invest in providing opportunities for our employees and promote from within.
