OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Specialist to join our Legal & Compliance team.In this role, you'll play a critical role that includes:TSA-related record auditing, data entry, and Monitoring (to include KSMS, STA, and Authorized Representative compliance)Input and development of compliance-related system resources, including Sites/Databases, Internal Audits, Training, and other systems in order to support the company's overall compliance with TSA and export-related regulations.To help support improvement and understanding in the use of the Sites/Databases and various systems used as part of our Compliance Management efforts.This position is 100% onsite at our El Segundo, CA office.Salary: $60,000 - $ 84,000This salary range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At NEU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the role's pay range.ResponsibilitiesTSA Known Shipper Management System (KSMS) Maintenance:Receiving & submitting Known Shipper requests into TSA's KSMS and providing results to branches.Assisting in addressing Known Shipper related inquiries from branches.Assist in Known Shipper status “downgrading” when applicable.TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA) Application Maintenance:Receiving, auditing, and submitting STA Applications into TSA's IACMS and providing results to the branches.Receiving and Submitting STA Disassociation requests and providing results to the branches.TSA Authorized Representative (“AR”) Maintenance:Monitoring Veroot for AR Driver STA and Training compliance updates.Updating TSA's IACMS with updated AR Company and Driver compliance information.Maintaining AR Company and Driver records in SharePoint.Legal & Compliance Division (CMD) Administrative Support:Assistance in the Development and Maintenance of Forms, Presentations, and Policy / Reference documents.Collection and compilation of data for analysis and presentation by Senior Management at related Divisional and Committee Meetings.Invoice Review and Processing of Requisitions.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Associates, Bachelors or Equivalent/Related Industry experienceIntermediate to Advanced Knowledge of MS Office Products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePointStrong organization and communication skillsCapability to handle Sensitive Security information (SSI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII)Capability to schedule, organize and work independently.Regulatory & Industry knowledge preferredStrong Teamwork skillsOrganization Relationships:Reports To: Manager, Compliance Management Division (or other defined CMD Senior Manager or above)Work Environment:(With or without accommodations) This position is predominantly sedentary office work, which involves sitting, typing, filing, and conversing on the phone.This job description is not intended to be and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of all the responsibilities and working conditions of the position.
