    Position: Sr. Analyst DC Inventory Optimization/ Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain

    Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ [Hybrid 2 days on site]

    Duration: 6+ Months Contract

    Position Scope

    Reporting to the Director DC Inventory Optimization, the Sr. Analyst DC Inventory Optimization will provide analysis of inventory components and potential improvements for North America Supply Chain. The individual will further deliver analytics capabilities through enhanced operational efficiency with inventory management and small project execution, while working with the business unit planning teams to manage NASC inventories more effectively for improvements in OTIF, DIOH, Out of Region shipments, back order and reduction in non-effective inventory (cost reduction).

    This position will partner with North American Supply Chain functions, and focused BUs that have inventory in the North America DC network. The Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain will have the opportunity to execute on the developed data analytics strategy to drive inventory optimization and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The position will need to be able to influence core groups to effectively carry out improvements and optimization of inventory.

    Responsibilities

    • Understand and execute on requirements for the design of reporting, analytics, and data visualizations to support NASC inventory optimization goals.
    • Use data as a tool to identify and make recommendations to improve inventory health within NASC
    • Identify opportunities to create standardization across BUs and NASC for improved inventory management at all levels of the inventory life cycle.
    • Use lean tools to identify problems and work cross functionally to solve them.
    • Document processes through work instructions and flow charts to develop standard work.
    • Responsible for inventory analytics across North America to achieve improved customer experience as well as cost-savings targets specific to inventory optimization.
    • Collaborate with planning and transportation teams to provide visibility and velocity of inventory across the NASC network for improved operational efficiencies.
    • Lead BU and DC specific meetings to drive improvement in inventory health, NASC metrics, and DC space utilizations.

    Position requirements

    Experience:

    • Minimum of two years of supply and/or demand planning experience
    • Minimum of one year experience in an aspect of supply chain (i.e., transportation, warehousing) utilizing SAP
    • Minimum of one year utilizing PowerPoint to present analytics to various levels of the organization

    Competencies:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong organizational and analytic skills (i.e. BI) and ability to create visualization of supply chain opportunities
    • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Emotional intelligence, collaboration, teamwork and partnership required to influence peer level associates without direct authority
    • Proficient with developing standard processes and writing procedures
    • Knowledge of usage of CI/Lean methodologies and thinking
    • Proficient in SAP transactions and reporting

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, supply chain or business degree (or equivalent relevant experience)

    Certifications:

    • Six Sigma Green Belt (or relevant demonstratable experience) preferred.
    • Lean Certification (or relevant demonstratable experience) preferred.
