Job Description
Senior Estimator
My client is a leading vertically integrated company focused on luxury, market rate and affordable housing construction. They have one of the best and longest standing reputations in the markets and value commitment, attention to detail, and professionalism. They are looking to add to their preconstruction and design teams.
Qualifications & Experience for the Senior Estimator:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 5-7+ years of experience in multifamily or residential construction estimating
- Strong proficiency in estimating software, quantity takeoff tools, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD
- Experience developing and managing cost databases and analytics
- Strong understanding of preconstruction processes and early-stage budgeting
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with subcontractors and vendors
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail

Preferred Experience for the Senior Estimator:
- 10-15 years of experience
- Experience in multifamily development or wood-frame residential construction
- Exposure to affordable housing projects and HUD-related cost requirements
- Background in preconstruction or estimating leadership functions
