Description
Sr. HRIS Analyst, Reston, VA ($45-60/hour)
Immediate need for a Sr. Workday HRIS Specialist to set up maintenance, optimization, reporting, testing, troubleshooting, process improvements, data integrity, system security and year-end support for a multi-billion dollar industry leader. Support system integrations to ensure proper control, while recommending and establishing new controls as needed. This position is a 3 month temporary to permanent role. The problem is, we're getting people that are too HR heavy or too IT heavy with no configuration experience.
Responsibilities:
Lead or support regional HRIS modules, ensuring alignment with global and local requirements.
Translate business needs into HRIS specifications, configurations, and interfaces.
Maintain system codes, tables, reports, and resolve complex system issues.
Execute audits, controls, and internal processes to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Partner with HR stakeholders and vendors to support HR systems, interfaces, and integrations.
Design and run complex queries, manage file feeds, and implement system upgrades.
Support system and security administration across HRIS/Payroll platforms.
Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing end-user support.
Drive continuous digitization, automation, and optimization of HR processes.
Ensure HRIS compliance with regional regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
3+ years of HRIS and project experience with a focus on process improvement and system upgrades.
Strong expertise in Workday HRIS, payroll, and business processes.
General HR knowledge (e.g., compensation and benefits).
Experience with UltiPro reporting/payroll and Cognos BI reporting tools.
Familiarity with US and Canadian HR practices is a plus.
PHR, PMP, and experience with ticketing systems (JIRA/SNOW) are preferred.
