Our client, a leading general contracting company, is seeking a Staff Accountant II to join its accounting team. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional with at least two years of experience who is pursuing a CPA and looking to grow toward a Senior Accountant role.

Location: West Chester, OH
Job Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post recurring and standard journal entries
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations in BlackLine
• Support intercompany transactions and multi-entity accounting activities
• Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis and research account fluctuations
• Assist with month-end close, audit preparation, and external auditor requests
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of assigned accounting processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in Corporate Accounting or Construction Accounting.
• Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience with BlackLine and ERP systems is a plus
